We are now the official representatives of TC Helicon, an international company producing effects exclusively for vocalists. By the same means, we joined other artists promoting the well-known Canadian brand TC Helicon: Kraftwerk, George Michael, Beardyman, Aubrey Nun from Faithless, or Ben “The Verse” Mount from Pendulum, to name but a few. That’s absolutely hip!!! Below, an interview about VoiceLive Touch - one of the latest TC Helicon equipment. What illustrates the talk are the fragments of MMI’s newest song, which you’ll find on the second record.

July 1st is rapidly approaching, and together with it - the concert in Warsaw on the occasion of Poland embracing the European Union Presidency. What we’re going to play is claimed to be a surprise, but you might have your guesses after the broadcast on TOK FM, where Kuba Wojewódzki and Krzysztof Materna were discussing this concert. What did they say about us?
Kuba Wojewódzki: This is what we meant – to move away from the traditional interpretation of Chopin. And what the band Me Myself and I do proves that the reading of Chopin may be more modern without ever touching upon sacrilege. This is what this concert should be like. It should be a concert of open horizons.
Krzysztof Materna: This Chopin progression consists in counterpoints and confrontations. Were there only Me Myself and I, we wouldn’t notice the difference between the original version played by an illustrious pianist, in which we enter what is Chopin’s impression of Polish folk music, and Karpiel Bułecka with Olejniczak. This is the way we arrive at Me Myself and I’s very innovative interpretation of Chopin. I must add that it is original, but only for the time being - not generally original. We did have this fantastic vocal group Novi Singers, who’ve recorded a whole Chopin album, which used to be a collector’s item on a world’s scale. It were these Novi Singers who held prime positions in the surveys carried by leading jazz magazines. In all, this is a kind of concert which will help us detach ourselves from our Polish complex of inferiority, provincialism and otherness.
In the meantime, we’d like to thank all those who watched us at the concert in Wrocław. Splendid atmosphere of a picnic, a warm welcome – this is what we like best. Thanks go to the organizers for having invited us. Greetings to Piotr Bartyś from Radio RAM. For many a year has this man been skillfully supporting Wrocław bands. Us included. All credit to him for that. Bye for now!

In this day and age of music filled with dodecaphony and sounds of a broken sewage system, this group appears like some revelation. Each of their arrangements emanates with their love for music, with their enormous devotion, which fact translates into the outcome: listening to them is like eating fresh strawberries. There’s a lot going on – and that’s what makes us happy. First of all, Kuba Wojewódzki’s review in Polityka in his regular column “Mea Pulpa.” Attention!!! A quote: “For me, so far this is the album of the year. It is they that are, along with Kamil Bednarek, the true winners of “Got Talent!” The band Me Myself and I. Their first album has just been released under a much telling title TAKADUM! I don’t care whether it’s beatbox, onomatopoesis, or a sound whatever-you-call-it. It appears that people can really perform miracles with their lips…”

On the occasion of the upcoming Easter holidays we’d like to wish you only the best, happiest and most wonderful moments in life, moments that will make you float on air, as sung by a famous artist, “a couple dozen centimetres above the ground” (Fish “30 cm”).
We now retire to our little homelands. But that does not mean we’ll be lounging about and doing nothing. Therefore, do pop in – something may always come up. For example, Wielki Brat (Big Brother) has sent an Ester egg with some new concerts. You just need to see it.

Welcome to our new website. It will surely be expanding with time. Especially the Buy section, where most amazing stuff connected with our band shall be awaiting you. For the time being, enjoy all the reviews, album, history and other stuff concerning Me Myself and I. It is you who are the most important to us, since were it not for you – we wouldn’t have been where we are now.
Most recent events. We did the opening sequence for Kuba Wojewódzki’s show. You may see it HERE. Our visit was quite short, but we’ve got info that we shall soon appear there for a substantially longer minute.
We’re just preparing to set off for the next two concerts. This time, we shall perform in Rzeszów and in Kielce (details in the Concerts section).
