| The Album "TAKADUM!" |
|
The album consists of 10 songs. Some of them are brand new, while others enjoy the position of Me Myself and I’s classics, such as “Sibaraba” or “Muzurek.” From among the new compositions, a particularly interesting piece is “Tykoptyk” due to its unusual and intriguing structure, as well as a sure bet – “Route 666,” once popularized by The Rolling Stones, now brilliantly re-interpreted in this beatbox cover. Almost the whole album consists of fantastic arrangements with skillfully written out and performed vocal parts. What is also an undeniable advantage is the artists’ energy, which is immediately sensed and absorbed by the listeners. Thanks to the combination of the above features, the fact that they enter with their debut album does not make Me Myself and I sound like beginners in the field. Rather, it is the self-confidence that they emanate with - as to the direction they’re heading and to their own MUSICAL PHILOSOPHY. Those who enjoy listening to music, dancing to it or in any other way experiencing it, without doubt won’t be disappointed. The album as if closes a certain chapter in the band’s work, it is a cross section and a summing-up of its activities since the beginnings of MMI. The songs that are oftentimes already well-known, are now played anew, arranged and re-mastered. And for sure, many will discover the novelty and full potential of the band, unrestricted practically by any stylistic constraints. TrackList: 1. Takadum Old (Majeran/Pasierska) 2.
